The Brand

A waterfront dining venue at Versace on the Gold Coast, Kokum boasted quality Asian/Indian fusion cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. With a gin bar, cocktails and lounge, Kokum is the place to watch the sunset and stay for dinner.

The Social Strategy

As a premium dining experience on the Gold Coast, we needed to ensure that the Kokum social media was a sheike experience within itself. Having only launched their venture a few months prior, their social media platforms were quite lackluster with content that did not reflect the luxuriousness of the restaurant.

 

We started off by developing a Style Guide that could be used to create brand cohesiveness across all marketing platforms. First and foremost, we have a brainstorming session figuring out who the main customer personas were and then how the brand personality would intertwine with them. Based on the location and features of the venue, we came up with 5 words that encompassed the brand: Elegant, Refined, Sophisticated, Unique, and Serene. These were then developed into a visual guide to communicate these personality traits.
